After retirement in 2005 Dave Pogrant started doing woodcrafts to fill in his free time. He started doing small wood project such as picture frames. It didn’t take long before he bought his first lathe and started turning wood pens. This expanded into bottle stops and then wood bowls. More tools were purchases and now Lazy Susan’s as well as many other wood projects are part of his craft items. Working on putting a beautiful finish on his craft projects constantly has been a learning experience.
Always looking for new challenges he got into stained glass and now helps teach new stain glass students in Tucson, AZ were he and his wife Joan spend the winter months. The enjoyment of taking on a new project has been instrumental in keeping him active in both stained glass and wood projects.
